Gilsland Show success!

Lees Hill CE Primary School celebrate show success again! Yesterday, 7th August, the sporty scarecrows prepared for Gilsland Show were awarded first and third place. Our school received £7 in prize money. Jake was also awarded third prize for his Olympic poster. Congratulations everyone!

A big thank you to Fiona Ritson for running an afterschool club to prepare our entries and to Alice and Matthew for taking time in the school holidays to add the finishing touches to our scarecrows.
