School Day Timings

Each school week is 32.5 hours. 

Children are welcome to arrive at school from 8:30am, from this time staff are available to take responsibility for your children. The school day starts at 8:55am

The School day ends at 3:25pm. If there is a requirement for Wraparound Care, this will be on until be 4:30pm. 

If, for any reason, arrangements have to be changed, parents will be told in advance.

The children are offered a healthy snack at 10:40am before having a break until 11am.  Lunch is served at 12:00 and the children return to their classes at 1:15pm.  The school day typically starts with Reading, Spellings and SPaG lessons followed by Maths and English after morning break.  After lunch the children's lessons are planned in to cover all the other areas of the curriculum.  PE is usually on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon and the children come to school in their PE kits on these day. We also have our Sports Club on a Wednesday lunchtime. The timetable is subject to change as we squeeze as much into the school day as possible!

Each day the children gather for a collective worship assembly which builds up to a much anticipated celebration worship on the Friday of every week! 

At Friday worship, we welcome family and community members to join us for this act of collective worship to celebrate the week's achievements.
