Shadow Drawing

We made the most of the sunny weather to create shadow drawings and turn them into artwork for the classroom. Continuing their investigation of materials the children investigated how we need the sun to make shadows. They chose their favourite animal and made a shadow drawing of it. This supported their understanding of the words transparent, translucent and opaque.
