ANOTHER CATHEDRAL!

Following on from our visit to Newcastle cathedral we visited Carlisle cathedral.  The children recognised the differences and similarities between the two buildings and, again, enjoyed their visit and were a joy to take.  We met one of the cathedral Canons who entertained the children with his favourite bible story.  After lunch we walked to Carlisle library, via the cenotaph and Bookends.  The children enjoyed looking at books and sharing stories before choosing a book to bring back to school.
