Trip to Talkin Tarn

The whole school enjoyed a trip to Talkin Tarn to learn new skills and practise skills already learned. The infants walked around the tarn visiting the willow den, wooden carved sculptures, crow wood and the restful cairn overlooking the tarn. We popped into the bird hide to see what birds we could spot and admire the painted murals of different birds and animals that are spotted in the area. We went raft canoeing and learned how to row forwards and backwards. The children were very brave and well behaved on the water even when they had to stand and jump. We finished the day off with some mini golf and some children even managed to get a hole in one!
