Shadow Drawing

We made the most of the sunshine today to create some shadow drawing artwork. This supported the children's learning about materials and demonstrated what the words translucent, transparent and opaque mean. The children chose a favourite animal to draw using the shadow created by the sun. We then made shadows of ourselves.
